Postage help required!

I received a package I had to pay postage for. There was no stamp or return address on the package. I don't recognise the handwriting. Is there any way at all if finding out where the package was posted from? Even the nearest sorting office would help right now!

Is the town name not on the franking mark over the stamp?

If it is addressed to you open it, but I would do it outside just in case it's a glitter bomb a friend received one of them as a joke last year , it took him months to get rid off the glitter even though he has hard floors and leather sofas.

Daft question but have you opened it? I would think the contents would be the biggest clue as to where it has come from.

Have you figured it out yet @Anothertempusername ?

So it was a very bizarre item. Potentially malicious. Don't want to say more as outing!

Whoever's posted it put it straight into the postbox so I had to pay for the postage (part of the malice I think!), hence absolutely no markings.

No idea who I've upset but is in the hands of the police now. Confused

Eeek , that bloody odd !
I wonder what the police can do , if there is no post mark it will be hard for them to trace unless they go all CSI on it which TBH I doubt they will if this is the 1st time this has happened / you have reported it ..

Yeah I think that's probably the reasoning behind the lack of postage....... I think I've angered someone on eBay or something as there's no way I've annoyed someone recently - too busy being pregnant and having a newborn!
