It's a plume moth.

I'm not sure which one.

LookMumNoFeet · 21/08/2019 22:24

It doesn't look like it has wings, just sort of stick like things on the sides (or maybe folded wings, I don't know..)

pottedshrimps · 21/08/2019 22:25

I've seen them before. I think it's a type of moth.

PasDeGeeGees · 21/08/2019 22:27

Oh we get those, they are particularly attracted to the bathroom wall for some reason.

We call them Angel of the North jobs.

TheoriginalLEM · 21/08/2019 22:29

Yay I was right - plume moth. I'm in South East and see lots of these. I like moths

LookMumNoFeet · 21/08/2019 22:29

Clever mumsnetters! It is a plume moth.
I was hoping it was a rare species of some sort but apparently they are quite common.

We get lots here, they’re lovely. They’re wings are tightly curled up and they are called plume because when unfurled they look like feathers.
