Hello all I am going to Inverness with DH in September for 4 nights B&B. We will be on quite a tight budget. Can anyone recommend any nice reasonably priced restaurants? Many thanks!

We go here most nights when in Inverness. It's not fancy but it is delicious.

I love Inverness, I’d recommend a trip
to Urquhart Castle on your way to the city/home from the city. It’s free if you are a member of Historic Scotland.

I second the Mustard Seed or The Kitchen. Local produce and they do fixed price menu. My personal favourite is Contrast at The Glenmorriston, if you go for early meal they have a fixed price menu too, quite a romantic venue and live piano player in lounge at weekends.

@SunshineDays2019 will you have a car? I can recommend a couple of free / low cost outings, in and around the city.
