I have certain workbooks I need to update regularly and part of this is creating a hyperlink for each line, to a particular file (different file for each 'job'). The files I need to link to are all located in the same folder (folder X). The workbooks I am updating, are located in 'folder A'
When I open the box to select the file to link, I am trying to make this default to folder X instead of the workbook location.
I have tried amending the hyperlink base under properties but this doesnt change anything.
I can't move all of the workbooks from A to X' and make it default that way, as this would make the filing a mess. Is there another way I can do this? (Hope I've explained this properly)
