Teenage party

Well middle dd is having her early 14th birthday party and I am expecting about 10 excitable teens descending on my house imminently- most of them also staying over!

Any survival tips?? It's going to be noisy isn't it? Luckily weather is nice and they can spend most of time in the garden.

Make some really lovely mocktails. They'll be wishing they could drink but they are too young.
Feed them early then leave them to it.
Make sure you have a really strong play list of music and mood lighting so it feels atmospheric.

Make a really lovely breakfast for them.

Don't leave them with plastic bottles of fizzy drinks in your lounge (substitute room they'll be sleeping in) overnight. We did that and were woken up by seven 14 year olds spraying it all over the walls, furniture, TV, stereo etc.
