Hated the way I looked on my wedding day

I hated the way I looked on my wedding day. I had a bad exzema breakout on my face which makeup couldn't cover. So I looked like a clown. I hate to look at my wedding pictures. Certainly can't display them in my house. Embarrassed to show them to people. I get jealous and depressed when I look at over people on their wedding day. Especially since some people say its the most important day of their lives. 3 years on it still bothers me. Any advice

BizzzzyBee did mil do it on purpose?
In my opinion yes. She rarely sees DC because I won’t have anything to do with her and DH is usually too busy to take them. So I hope she thinks her little trick is worth not seeing her GDC.

Awful wedding photos aren’t the end of the world. Burn them and have a family photo shoot in an expensive dress. Put those pics on the wall instead.

UsernameABC it was stressful, there was a lot more to it I can't go into on here. I cannot think of a single part that actually went well, other than the ceremony, we also got married on my husband's birthday, I ordered him a cake, should have been delivered the day before, they hadn't even made it! But...photoshop and professionals can help you out and failing that, a do over can make things better.

@BizzzzyBee - bloody hell. I’d have overridden dh’s wishes and if he didn’t like it, I wouldn’t have married him.

Op. Get back in your wedding dress and dh in his suit, go to a lovely local park or your fav place and have some fab new photos taken.

Hello! I'm pretty good at Photoshop (I teach it); I can have a go at editing a couple if you like. :)

Hi @UsernameABC
It should be very easy to edit the photos; I mean nearly every shot people post on facebook or instagram is edited. I use photoshop professionally and to be honest with the amount of filters/image editing software out there now, you don't need to be able to use it, to make a facial shot look better. Try googling Portrait Pro, it is not expensive (about 35 pounds) and you would be able to do it yourself. It might be worth the money to you considering what you have probably paid for wedding photos.

I look like a man in drag on my weddi g photos.
I've kept a handful locked away in a drawer but binned the rest.
2002 I got married. Yes I feel.sad I don't have "that picture" hanging on my wall but there are worst things in life I suppose.
