Spectacle wearers - Wayfarers

I cant seem to find any in the opticians to try on and cant see any online companies offering try before you buy.

Therefore, can any help by telling me what the difference is between Ray Ban original Wayfarer style 5121 and New Wayfarer style 5184?

I even took to Youtube feeling sure that someone would have done a side by side comparison, but there is nothing on there either!

I have the "new" wayfarers, which I got with prescription transitions lenses.

From what I could tell the original wayfarers are a thicker rim and arms, the "new" version are thinner so more suitable for prescription lenses?!

I absolutely love the new style, one of the best things I’ve ever bought, as the other posted said they’re not as wide, much neater and look smarter I think, they fit closer to the eyes not so gappy as the old style.
