2 ds's have managed to amass a scary amount of toot in the past few years.
My plan is to sort it all out, and be ruthless in getting rid of anything that doesn't get used, or has bits missing etc. Wish me luck!

Good for you-I have just done a monster cull! It was really hard work but very satisfying! Be ruthless!!!

Thanks @Thisisanillegalbingogame. Just about to do a tip run. Mostly at the point of being able to put things back, but still loads to go. Still have their bedroom to do, but that may wait...

Eek good luck, DS is spoilt for toys and I'm expecting twins, I need to do this. Started with my over spilling bookcase and taking 22 books to the charity shop. Need to tackle DS's books tomorrow...
Tpys once term starts again...

@SleepingStandingUp have you heard of look for a Book? You hide a book in a zip lock bag in a public place, with a message like 'Congratulations, you've found this book. Please read, then rehide for someone else'
There's a Facebook page for it, so could be a nice way of getting rid of some books?

Maybe when I have one or two, not so much for 22 lol

I'm done! Looks so much better!

It's making me sad. He's discarded a whole plethora of toys which I know he doesn't play with, so he's quite smart, but it's made me realise I've been trying to compensate for his hard years materially with stuff. And it is just stuff.

I'll wash some and keep for my babies to come, but lots of it will just go to landfill or the charity shop which is a really sad tale of his childhood.
