Best way to remove peach fuzz on face?

It must be an age thing 😱. I keep noticing my face fuzz. How do I get rid of it? Epilating? Threading? Shaving?!

No suggestions unfortunately but I completely feel your pain! It has come from nowhere and makes my make up look awful Sad

Pinnacular · 18/08/2019 22:36

Dry shave with a safety razor once a week or so. A top tip from a forum years ago, but definitely the easiest and quickest. You don't look stubby, as the fuzz is so fine. I pluck the few more stubborn hairs.

Momof2boys1girl · 18/08/2019 22:36

Dermoplaning works a treat for peach fuzz

housewifeoflittleitaly · 18/08/2019 22:37

Dermaplaning - do not shave!!

RainbowCake · 18/08/2019 22:37

I need to know the answer too. I've just had the pleasure of seeing my fuzz in a magnified mirror Confused I swear it wasn't that bad a month ago!

startalovetrain · 18/08/2019 22:38

I use a trimmer to trim it really short, it looks much better but still normal and no sticky feeling stubble as it regrows!

Northernsoullover · 18/08/2019 22:39

I don't remove mine. How bad does it have to be?

Sazquatch · 18/08/2019 22:39

Ooh, dermaplaning sounds like a good thing . . . what is it?

matahairyy · 18/08/2019 22:39

Omg. Dermaplaning

YesQueen · 18/08/2019 22:39

Dermaplaning - whip it off with a scalpel on a dry face

matahairyy · 18/08/2019 22:41

So,
You lie there and she gently uses a razor to edge away your skin, and feels really nice and she does right up into your hairline and its like a deep hair removal and exfoliation. Look on YouTube

ParkheadParadise · 18/08/2019 22:41

I always get my eyebrows threaded its painless.
Last time she suggested I needed my top lip done. JESUS CHRIST the pain was horrendous.
Never again will I get that done.
I'll stick to using DH's razor.😉

Me too pp. hence i started derma

SeroxatBlonde · 18/08/2019 22:43

If it's just peach fuzz rather than whiskers then one of those Flawless Touch things is great. No good for serious whiskerage though!

Time40 · 18/08/2019 22:44

My mum had a glove made of stuff like extra-fine sandpaper for this.

matahairyy · 18/08/2019 22:44

Your make up looks amazing. My colleague noticed skin too

practicallyperfectmummy · 18/08/2019 22:47

These are great, takes away the fuzz very easily. Also really good to define around your eyebrows, doesn't hurt at all the way threading really can.

Sazquatch · 18/08/2019 22:49

Okay, final stupid question: How often do you need to get dermaplaning done?

Thanks everyone.

I’ve only had it once in early June I think. Next appointment next week. Think I’ll go every half term. It’s cheap atm at £35. Normally more

tempester28 · 18/08/2019 22:56

You can just use a regular razor. It removes dead skin too.

matahairyy · 18/08/2019 22:57

Not with this accuracy. God and it’s swoony

TheSandman · 18/08/2019 23:00

OK... WHY?

I mean we're mammals. We have hair. We're not made of airbrushed plastic - despite what the women's magazines and porn industry would have us believe.

I'm a male I hate shaving. And I love the way that beards have once more become fashionable. Why then do women feel the need to START shaving their faces?

The cosmetics industry finding a new niche to fill to make up for all the shaving products men are no longer buying?

A fear that facial hair may somehow lead people to think you a trans - as if that in itself is a bad thing?

Why do it?

Please don't. The world has enough freakily plastic, overly made up masks slapped onto people's faces.

TheSandman

I agree with you in principle but you’re expecting a lot of women for them to be martyrs to the cause when it’s their faces.
