Is this outfit ok?

Hi all. Going to the races and unsure whether this dress looks ok with the gold shoes and bag? Going to get something red for my hair? Any opinions valued as my husband is no use at all! X

I love the shoes (although, which races - they won't work if you have to walk on turf). But not sure the dress makes the best of your figure? You have great legs though, I'm jealous!

The shoes and bag are a bit lost in the pattern of the dress. I’d go for a darker colour that’s in the detail of dress and add a belt to the dress as well.

I was also going to say add a belt to the dress. Otherwise lovely - I am guessing the bag shows up more in real life than in a photo.

The shoes work but not the bag. A black clutch would look better. I'd go for either gold earrings or a gold chunky bracelet to bring in another gold acceny. Red or black fascinator/Headband will look good.

I also immediately thought a belt around the waist. You really need darker shoes and bag too. The dress is beautiful but everything else is lost because of it.

Love the dress, think it looks great.

Dress is great. Fab print and style. Would defo go with a dark bag and shoes though, not gold. And agree that a belt could look good too. I don't think that the gold shoes and bag work with it.

Ditto here, the dress is lovely on you but dark accessories would work much better!
