Muslim boy name opinions please

We were almost set on the name Zain. But nearly everyone we mentioned it to has reacted negatively. The most common response 'what like Zayn Malik from One Direction?.' Whilst I know it's not anyone else's business it's bothered me.
We are trying to think of Muslim boy names so would really appreciate any recommendations? Our family is of mixed heritage so would like a name that's easy to pronounce and possibly works in both cultures.
Up to now the only names we both like are Zain and possibly Harris. Which do MNs prefer? TIA

I know an Umar (adult) which he pronounces more of an O so it sounds like Omar

Thanks everyone for your suggestions there are some really lovely names. Unfortunately quite a few are already used within the family aswell (we have a big family).
I am still thinking about the name Zain as that's what we both really liked at first. It's our own fault for telling others. I think we should just keep it to ourselves from now. I would like to think if we just announced the name when baby is here we won't get the same comments.

A friend of mine has 2 boys called Zain and Aydan Smile

I didn’t even make the one direction connection until you mentioned it!

itssquidstella · 18/08/2019 17:27

Suleiman?

stucknoue · 18/08/2019 17:33

My friend has just called her son Adam, I questioned it (she is quite devout and wears a niqab!) as I was confused and she reminded me that the bible is a holy book in Islam too. Apparently Adam is a common British Muslim name, she already has a Mohammed.
