What's everyone doing today?

I've been up a while; had a cup of tea, put the washer on, and the slow cooker, and put some but not all of last night's pots away.

Dd1 joined me about 20 minutes ago & has had tea and toast. I suggested we go to the local Asda for the girls' lunchboxes because they both need new, but she cba.

Dd2 is, I think, still sleeping. There was no noise from her room when I took the washing basket back upstairs.

So, it looks like it'll be a fairly quiet day here. What are you all up to?

Ive put a wash on me and he have had breakfast and we are thinking of going to outlet place Dh is after new trainers, nothing to exciting 😀

Woken up by scaffolders coming to remove scaffolding (job was finished weeks ago and I didn’t think they’d come on a Sunday do had to go move my car).
I’ve fed rabbits, had breakfast and thinking must go for a swim before Tesco comes in an hour! Sun had come out after torrential shower so no excuse!
My son had just gone off on his new moped to get takeout sandwiches. Then we will argue as to whose turn it is to take dogs out when he returns...

MiniSJT and I are in bed watching ninja turtles, we have swimming at 2, but zero plans otherwise.

OH has taken DS out to see grandad and eat out.

DD is in her room watching videos.

I'm having a cup of tea and enjoying a moment of peace before I hang the washing up, do the dishes, and take the rubbish out.

Later on we're taking DD to circus school, then I'll do the weekly shop while she's there.

No plans really a lazy day.
DH on a stag do, oldest DS woke at 9 and is gaming, Baby DS is having a longer morning sleep then normal but has been under the weather teething so we are having snuggles.

When he wakes am going to make bacon buns and cups of tea for me and oldest.

Have a parcel of clothing to collect at some point.
Need to do some washing while sun has made an appearance.
Taking baby for a walk later on with a friend.

I got up at 5am with DS and then we both went back to bed for a 2 hour nap at 8.30. Now struggling to get on and pack for our holiday tomorrow and have to be at MILs for a bbq at 1pm!

The dough cycle on my bread maker is just about to finish so first I'm going to make rolls for lunch.

After lunch I'm going to sit down and sew up a baby cardigan. My mum made 4 and a half pieces of it before she died last year and I sat on Friday afternoon and worked out the pattern to finish the last piece. (I've got the knitting but the pattern has been lost since we cleared her stuff). I've got the button bands to knit once I've finished sewing it up - DH is planning to watch the cricket this afternoon so I'll plonk myself on the sofa and knit away.

I put on a wash, did a bit of emergency dusting and we’re just packing a picnic to go to a maize maze- dh has a Sunday off for what seems like the first time in a billion years. Then we might go for a pub lunch, or else pizza express for tea!

I got up at 4 with baby DD and DS joined us at 6 so the morning was spent watching CBeebies and building train tracks.

Later I think we're popping home for lunch and then doing the big food shop for the week and going to a local garden centre to feed the fish and have tea and cake
It sounds a bit rubbish but I love our slow Sundays!

Been for a walk, done laundry and made a veg pudding to go in the slow cooker, just having a cup of tea and watching Phoenix Nights while the baby falls asleep. Going to Aldi later.

Currents decluttering the house before we go away. Then Dropping all the rubbish off at the Recycle centre and a few bits to charity shops. Come home showers something to eat and relax.

Having quite a lazy day today. Did a wash and put it out as there’s a bit of sun.
Now sat with DS having an early lunch, watching Waffle The Wonder Dog.
DP is in bed after a night shift. When he gets up later we’ll go to B&M for some storage boxes. Exciting!

DH, DDog and I are all still in bed, they’re both snoring and I have a cup of tea and a good book. DH was out on a stag do last night, and I was out til half five ferrying drunk men home due to a complete lack of taxis in our very rural area 😂 he owes me!

I've taken dd to her behavioural optometry appointment although I realised at 9.55 the appointment was at 10 not 11 as I had though so a mad dash and was 15 mins late. It was her first therapy session and very interesting actually. We are hoping it will help with visual processing issues she has.

Dh has taken the other three kids to his friends boxing gym for a workout.

I'm going to have a tidy round the when dh gets back we are sorting out the garage.

This afternoon we are going for Sunday lunch with some friends and their kids.

Gentle day here after a party last night.
Neighbours are shattering the peace by pulling down several huge leylandii trees that border our garden, so have chain saw on full throttle!
Feeling a mixture of relief and sadness. Hate seeing trees destroyed, but they do dominate the gardens/skyline. Hope they plant something more appropriate instead 🤔

Woke up too early after a late night. I've had a total of 12hours sleep this weekend and I don't been have kids as an excuse!

Then have pottered about the house, sorted out all the cardboard that has piled up from furniture deliveries this week, and just stripped the bed and flipped the mattress.

Now sat eating macaroons and watching trash tv. I've got a great book on the go at the moment so I'm trying to pace myself and not going upstairs to demolish it!

I am doing slow housework. I have cleaned my teeth and that's as far as personal care has gone. I have managed to bath the children and wash their hair, which is a bigger job than it sounds. I am currently failing to get DS to nap, even though he only slept 9.30 - 5.30 and is therefore exhausted. I have promised to play something boring with DD when he gives in. If it stays dry I'll take the kids out to ride their bikes later, but that will entail getting dressed. Poo.

Had a lazy morning. Dh at work till 8pm so me and kids have had lunch, listening to test match special. Later, we are going blackberry picking. Might do some maths with eldest later and read books from their reading list for school.

Jacket spuds for tea.

Went to town to see the soap box race earlier, was mega busy so we left during the lunch break. Was quite exciting though, dc loved it.
Left dp at home cooking and cleaning () because we have guests coming round in a bit for Sunday dinner.
I’m now in the bath while he’s straining stock and mowing the lawn. I’ve got my priorities right...

V different day for me as I'm single and childfree! Gym this morning, last 4 hours spent on PhD, few more hours to do before I go home and binge Orange is the New Black

Today I did all the dishes (4 loads, I've been ill all week and DP is a slow dishwasher lol) and blitzed the kitchen. Just need to do the floor now but will do that last thing at night as it takes forever to dry.

Then I made homemade spiced tomato and lentil soup.

DP had spent most of the day playing with DS and now we're all watching Cars!

Later I'll be doing roast pork for dinner with all the things and we'll probably be really bad and watch more TV cos that's what 'lazy Sundays' are for!

Currently watching THE WORST FILM EVER on Netflix (Secret Obsession). Also painting my nails as I'm heading out later with friends for cocktails and then to a Punjabi food festival 😋

We went to a country park and visited the farm, did the trail, played in park, had an ice cream.

When we were back this afternoon i have played a bit of wii with DD1 . Currently cooking roast chicken and potatoes and DD's are playing restaurants.
