Hello,
We started potty training 2 weeks ago when DS (2.2) started refusing nappies and asking to use the potty. A couple of days of multiple wees then almost 2 weeks of using the potty really well (for wees anyway). Still needed a lot of reminding and encouragement but we had maybe 1/2 accidents a day. The last 4 days it’s completely fallen apart. Back to nursery after a holiday (was really good on holiday even when out and about) and constant accidents. Will use the potty for a quick wee then 5 mins later will do a massive one in trousers. At home having lots more accidents and needing to be bribed by stickers to use potty. Today he asked to wear a nappy so we just put one on as he was getting distressed and we had changed outfits 6 times already. WWYD? Persevere or have a break and come back to it? I don’t want to upset him but equally don’t want to confuse him going back to nappies after 2 weeks of encouraging the potty loads. TIA for your wise words :)
