Ed Sheeran tips for tonight

Did anyone go last night? Any tips?

I'm not going but I am designated driver for dd and her friend. Tickets were booked in my name.

I am assuming I need to park and go to the entrance with them? Will I have to pay event parking just to walk to the gate and back?

How muddy was it? Are wellies necessary?

Any tips for them on where to head? Good views?

Any good suggestions on where to meet afterwards? We'll be heading towards Manchester and I'm planning to go to the cinema at Thorpe park so if I could drive up and meet them south of the park that would be ideal. How bad was traffic last night?

Any other tips welcome.

Oh goodness, it was absolutely horrendous!
Please google Yorkshire evening post and check Twitter.
I don’t live too far away and have friends going today - I feel sorry for them!

Oh dear abouttime. Twitter is not reassuring me at all. I think I need to resign myself to paying £15 just to park to get them in. And if we don't get home until very late it doesn't matter. It's finding them / them finding me and managing to have battery left on their phones that is the challenge.

I think I'll be happier in my nice dry car Sad

If you booked the tickets I think you need to be at the gate so they will get in, so there's probably no way round you parking in the official car park and walking with them.

There's a bus from Leeds, but there was massive queues last night and that'll probably cost too.

I'd expect it to be muddy, due to the amount of rain yesterday, so wellies or at least something you don't mind getting very muddy sounds like a good idea. It's showery in Leeds right now, so probably won't dry up very much.
