Does anyone use a period tracker app? There are so many, any recommendations?

I always just used one called ‘Period Tracker’, it was free and looks pretty childish but always been 100% accurate in its predictions. Conceived my 2 kids using it to track fertility too. Very simple! Pic included because of the generic name.

I use Fitr Woman. Pretty basic but not TTC so is good for me. And free 😁

Autumnchill · 17/08/2019 08:03

I use Period Tracker too, nice and simple

Tidypidy · 17/08/2019 08:03

I track through Fitbit. It's very accurate with predictions.

Thank you

I use Clue, and like you can see at least 3 months predictions and when TTc it was really helpful too

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 17/08/2019 08:09

I used to use Clue as they seemed to be quite rigourously science based.

They are less so now.

I use Clue. I hated the Fitbit app! Mine aren’t always particularly regular and if your period was two days earlier or later than expected it wouldn’t let you add it! Useless for me!

Likethebattle · 17/08/2019 10:30

I use ovia it seems to work ok x

Jennifer11 · 17/08/2019 10:34

Ive used Ovuview as period tracker and to track fertility (as a contraceptive assistant!) Very few of either any more though! 😂

mnahmnah · 17/08/2019 10:35

Another for Clue. Does everything I need it to. Accurate. Easy to use.

kimlo · 17/08/2019 10:37

I use flo. It's fine does what I need it to do, easy to use and free.

Soubriquet · 17/08/2019 10:41

Yep I use clue

Never had a problem with it

AltogetherAndrews · 17/08/2019 10:42

Another vote for Flo. Does the job and free

ClaraLane · 17/08/2019 10:43

I use Clue.

They state the following as scientific fact (it isn't):

"Biologists now think there is a wider spectrum than simply two sexes. Many of us learned that if you have a Y chromosome you are male and without one you are female, but some people's sex chromosomes say one thing, while their gonads (ovaries or testes) or sexual anatomy say another. Some researchers now say that as many as 1 person in 100 has some form of difference or disorder of sex development (DSD) (1)."

They are also proud of this:

"In the 100+ pages of scientifically supported text in the English version of Clue — that covers topics of menstrual health, fertility, common medical conditions, PMS/PME, sex, breasts, ovaries, vaginas and so many other topics — we never once refer to "women" or "female."

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 17/08/2019 11:15

Having said that, in general the app etc is generally very good.

applepineapple · 17/08/2019 11:23

Used to use Clue, now use Flo

Soubriquet · 17/08/2019 11:32

Ah bollocks...

Gonna change my tracker app now Angry

BobbinThreadbare123 · 17/08/2019 11:32

Flo. The Fitbit one is too restrictive in what you can do, as a PP said.

Blastandbollocks · 17/08/2019 11:34

P Tracker. Like the fact that it backs up and works on both Android and iOS which means I can have it on my phone and my iPad.

tothefareast80 · 17/08/2019 11:46

I use Fitr Woman and love it. It explains how you may feel during each stage of your cycle due to changing hormone levels which helps me feel like I'm not going crazy, plus also links in tips about exercise and nutrition at the different stages. Highly recommend it.
