I didn't want matching. So chose contrasting but complementary. In my view.

Puerile night-time giggle at 'wooden tossers'

Damn. I thought this was about two people behaving badly over one bowl of salad!!!

When the bowl is filled with salad, I think it will look great. Only then though!

Like how some clothes don’t look good on the hangar, then you wear it and it looks great.

I'm profoundly disappointed. There I was, imagining a heated argument erupting over the dinner table, with Iceberg lettuce leaves flying, batons of cucumber used as lethal weapons by opponents with faces as red as the cherry tomatoes, and...what did we get?
Lovely bowl, btw, and the salad servers (tossers is a new one to me - but I like it!) are OK too.
