What's your weekend going to be like?

3yo DS has just gone to bed (exhausted after a day at nursery), I'm having a beer and DH and I are waiting for a Chinese.
Tomorrow I've got my hair, nails and make up appointment as we have a family party at night. DH will take DS swimming while I'm at my appointment.
DS is staying overnight at his Grans.
Sunday we have a kids birthday party then a family dinner later on.
Busy weekend but looking forward to catching up with both sides of the family over the weekend.

That sounds like a nice weekend!

DP is visiting this weekend, so we're having a nice home-made dinner tonight, synagogue tomorrow morning and rest/read when we get home. Sunday I think we're going to visit his mum. We're wedding planning at the moment (and TTC!)

I'm Currently waiting on a Hard seat, for my daughter & her friend to finish their dance class.
Then home, put ds to bed, make food & chill:
Tomorrow I need to get a Key cut for my dad as I'm returning to FT work Monday
Then Sunday chill; roast dinner up the in laws and probably stress about what I'm wearing next week!

@Bezalelle how exciting, best of luck! We're also TTC so we'll be doing that later too 😂

@Scoleah is it a whole new job or are you just putting your hours up? Iron and hang up all your clothes for the week on Sunday and meal prep / pre make anything you can and you'll feel nice and relaxed / organised come Monday!

I'm starting a Brand new Job!
I'm so excited. 999 Call taker, I start my 6 week training Monday!
I've chose to be a SAHP for 3 years, so I'm very nervous going back, especially now putting my ds into childcare when I've always done it!
Always said that if this job came up I'd go for it, so I did!Grin

Thank you for the tips!
I've just bought myself a lunch bag in the new look Sale, it has avocados all over it Blush but if it'll save me money packing my own lunch I'll try & rock it Grin
I've hung everything up already! I've bought 5 pairs of trousers and 8 plain tops so I can swap and change for the next 6 weeks before we have uniform!

Today's plan changed anyway.
I showered the dog & emptied her anal glands all before 9am Envy
Waited in for Parcels (back to school trainers for the kids, because eldest is too cool for school shoes & my Son is starting nursery PT)
Made food, DD Went trampolining and I did some cleaning!
Not very eventful!
Now sat here with my glass Blue WKD trying to blank the Football out in the background. Grin
