Periods after birth!

I gave birth 17 weeks ago and periods got back to some sort of normality. My last period was a few days late but came on 2/8/19 - 8/8/19. Today I’ve been getting a little bit of cramps, nothing bad just slight niggles. Went to the loo, wiped and I’ve got a little bit of bloody/light pink stained discharge?! Surely I can’t be coming on my period again 8 days later?! Don’t know what it could be If it’s not a period. No intercourse ect. So annoying!! Part and parcel of giving birth ehh!

Yeah, mine have been all over the place since DS was born 9 months ago. First period happened when he was 6 months old which surprised me because I never had periods whilst breastfeeding my other DC. Anyway I’ve had 34 day cycles then a 40 day cycle then 38 day one. Had one period last 12 days .

I’m assured it’s normal for them to be erratic for a while.
