Neighbour’s alarm going off - what do I do?

It’s the house opposite, and though I know the person who lives there, I don’t know him well enough to have his number.

I have been to ask other other neighbours if they have his number, but they are also away. I rang the number on the alarm itself but that is now linked to a private individual’s house for some reason. Not sure what else I can do?

Can you see into the house?

can you call the 101 police advice line and ask if they come out and take a visit in case its burglars.

101 check the house hasn’t been broken into, local environmental health/ noise nuisance team. Facebook stalking till you find them. Good luck, happened to us last year. It was 4 very long days till it stopped.

My only piece of advice, is that even smashing the box off the wall will not stop it as they generally have a backup battery in the alarm box...

How long has it been going for?

I normally nip out and check as much as I can that it's nothing sinister. Then if I don't have the number of the owner I just wait until it goes off.
