I’ve had one tonight...
Came home from work. DH was working from home ( which I knew) but he was on a conference call with not well known colleagues from overseas which I’d forgotten about. So as I let myself in I shouted hello etc..and I heard him say “ Hang on everyone, my wife has just come in..let me say hello to her” . He could have easily shushed me etc but I thought it was nice that he wasn’t shy about greeting me. It only took a few seconds but it made me go Awww and I’m not usually like that!

Awwww, Grin

The way he's so emotional with DD. Big tough farmer but sometimes he looks at her and his eyes fill up. She's a long awaited miracle baby but it still melts my heart.

Moobar are you me Grin my DH is also a farmer and our 5 month old DD is an IVF sucess after 5 years TTC. On Saturday she was on her playmat and he was tickling her tummy whilst telling her in a silly voice he was going to tickle her tummy and she was chuckling like mad it makes my heart melt seeing how much they idolise each other and I've never loved him more than I do now seeing how good a dad he is.

DH had been out in the morning to get more milk for breakfast. At about 11 we usually have a coffee on weekend days, and when I asked him if he wanted one, he was adamant he wanted me to make him a cup of tea. I was Hmm at first until I went to the tin where we keep the teabags to find a big bar of dairy milk that he'd picked up that morning and hidden there for me Grin

It’s nice to recognise the normal ways in which people show their love for you/ yours
