Please name my shoe shop......

Im looking at opening a childrens shoe shop in my local area. I will stock a variety of brands including barefoot brands.

I will stock a smaller selection of adult barefoot brands but not any other adult brands.

Dh has suggested our town name and then shoes at the end.

All suggestions greatly appreciated!

I used to take my DDs to a shoe shop called Stomp! for their shoes when they were little. No idea if it still exists.

Hop, skip and a jump. This fits with the mainly kid friendly branding but also the adult barefoot range as it makes you think of athletics.

I know of a kids shoe shop called Stomp already, it sounds identical in terms of stock etc so maybe not the best idea to call it the same name?

I quite like the following:

Stride
Traverse
Toddle

Which are similar in meaning. I particularly like Traverse as it has a nice assonance.

I wouldn't call it something to toddler or baby sounding because your 11 year old boy or girl is not going to want to go somewhere called pitter patter or baby steps. Too young sounding and people will think it is just for babies and toddlers and you could do an amazing trade in school shoes, particularly as Clarks are so awful. I suggest you offer buy a pair of school shoes and get x% off school trainers or backpacks or something else useful.

I like Traverse or Walk!
