Would it be weird to print out photos of strangers off the Internet..

And stick them on my bedroom mirror and fridge?

I have 90lbs to lose and I keep looking at before and after photos and they give me a real drive to do the same.

I was thinking if I had some on my mirror and in my kitchen they would stop me snacking.

Maybe some photos of myself at my heaviest weight too.

I don't really have visitors so I'm not fussed about people seeing them

I don’t think it’s weird, whatever works for you!

HeadintheiClouds · 14/08/2019 17:27

Not at all. Good luck.

Asta19 · 14/08/2019 17:27

Why not? If you will find it motivating then do it. I don't think it's that weird.

LizzieVereker · 14/08/2019 17:28

Not weird at all.

ScreamingValenta · 14/08/2019 17:28

If it motivates you, go for it!

Do bear in mind that photos online are often airbrushed/taken at flattering angles etc. so don't compare yourself to images that might be unrealistic and unhealthy, but if you have a sensible goal weight in mind I think anything that helps you stick to your diet and fitness plan is worth trying.

HeadintheiClouds · 14/08/2019 17:29

God, that’s a good point about them being airbrushed!

Lipz · 14/08/2019 17:31

Sounds good to me if it helps you sure why not. A woman I once knew put a naked pic of herself on her fridge, she said she hated how she looked with no clothes on, it was very uncomfortable when visiting her. At least yours will be clothed lol

TubbyMonkeh · 14/08/2019 17:32

Oh the after photos I have chosen show people with flabby and extra skin left over, I am realistic about what I am likely to look like!

Join Instagram. Lots of motivational before and after accounts/pics of people who have lost weight. Lots of motivational chat too

#weightlossjourney #weightlosstransformation

Etc

TubbyMonkeh · 14/08/2019 17:37

I follow lots of weightloss people online but sometimes when I'm in the kitchen cooking for the kids or doing lunches it's easy to just have a kitkat or a piece of cheese, in that moment I'm not thinking about my weight, so the pics might be a good constant reminder and stop that.
