Nursery leaving gift ideas

DS is leaving his nursery, through no fault of theirs (just doesn't work with DD and me returning to work). They've been brilliant with him and we are so sad he is leaving so want to buy them a lovely leaving gift, but need ideas. I did ask the manager but she said "surprise us".

So ideas please! We want something for the nursery and something for the staff too.

Gift vouchers! We got each of DS's room workers a £10 Amazon voucher and a £25 voucher for his key worker. Plus each of them got a card with photos of DS on saying thank you.

Apparently they get more chocolate gifts than any human being could ever consume so it was nice to have something different.

HavelockVetinari DH was a teacher many moons ago and we used to joke that July was "restock the goodies cupboard month", because the chocolate he got would last us until Christmas, when it was restocked again!

My DD's nursery don't accept food. I've got her key worker a cinema gift card and I'm going to get a voucher for somewhere they can get toys & books to help them out in general.

Thanks, I think I'll combine a few ideas. They definitely accept food!

A few of his favourite books for the rooms? Maybe write inside with date do they will remember. A voucher for key worker is nice.
