Cold enough for a fire?!

Is it?

I have washing I need to dry but am trying to eek out my oil so don't want to put radiators on (can't afford another oil delivery for a while) - and no tumble drier.

I have logs ready to use!

But feel silly lighting it in August! 🙄

Light it, it’s chilly. I need to get my chimney swept actually so this has been a good reminder before I light mine, which will be soon no doubt, so thank you!

I've got mine on in the front room AND the kitchen, it's been cold here since yesterday.

MrsHoneybadger · 14/08/2019 13:42

Ok I'm convinced!! Grin

I've got my heating on today. It feels autumnal and chilly outside. No point being cold.
