Hob burns - do these need dressing?

I'm on holiday, adult DD is at home. She has texted me to say she has burnt her fingers on oven hobs (photo included). Would you bandage the hand or let air to them overnight?

If I burnt myself I would probably contact my mum but definitely not whilst she was on holiday! Don't understand why she felt she had to worry you tbh.

But they aren't open blisters so its better to let them 'breathe' without bandages. Going to be painful though so make sure she stocks up on painkillers.

Poor thing. I've done similar and the pain was awful. I know the advice is to let it breathe but the only way I could deal with the pain was to wrap it in clingfilm as exposure to the air makes the pain worse apparently. After a couple of days I took it off and it the pain was gone and it healed just fine.

I used to use a vaseline gauze dressing, I guess cling film would have a similar effect.
