London aquarium

Hope it’s ok to post this here.

Has anyone been to the London aquarium recently? I want to take my 2 year old but it seems very expensive as I have 4 children in total. Even with the 2 year old free and a 2 for 1 ticket it will be £90, I’m just wondering if it’s worth it. £30 a ticket seems a lot of money. Anyone been recently?

It's not worth it, 90 min at best, waste of money (IMHO)

PumpkinP · 13/08/2019 14:19

Yeh think we are gonna leave it, Will go London zoo instead which is actually cheaper!

Not worth it!

London Zoo on the other hand is amazing - but huge so take all day to go round.

Not worth it, have been to the Norfolk one this week and it was much cheaper and just as good.

storminabuttercup · 13/08/2019 14:48

Definitely not worth it. We went as had Merlin passes but couldn't wait to get out, far too busy to be able to enjoy it

inboxmayhem · 13/08/2019 15:17

Utter crap, not worth it. Waste of time and money.

We gave up after queuing for too long and deciding that once we got in it would be too busy to see anything.

Everything I've heard since suggests we had a lucky escape,

PumpkinP · 13/08/2019 16:47

I’ve had the queues are really long, can imagine during the holidays especially, Gonna give it a miss then thanks.

Better off finding a local aquatics store locally IME. At least the store will usually have fish you can actually see.

Is that the Sea Life centre by the Eye? It is very busy and crowded, if you have Tesco Clubcard you can exchange those for vouchers for entry.
