I need to dye my grey roots every 2 weeks, and just don't want the time and expense of going to a salon that often any more.
My current hairdresser uses a mix of 4A/4NN with a 20 vol developer. It's Paul Mitchell colour.
Are certain brands of developer better than others, or do they all do the same thing? My greys are pretty stubborn if that makes a difference.
What's the best brand for the colour?
Is 4A equal to 4.1? How about 4NN, is that 4?
I have the colour emulsified, to make it an even colour. Is this just adding water and drawing through the rest of the hair and leaving for 10 mins?
Any other tips? Thanks!
