Rainy day in Brighton with teenage niece and friend

Day out in Brighton tomorrow with 15 year old niece and friend. Forecast to rain all day sadly. I'm sure they'll be happy going round shops for hours then we'll meet for lunch. What else would be fun for them? Would the Royal Pavilion interest them do you think? I went as a child and can still remember it but maybe I was a weird kid?

Pier!
Retro fun with the rides and machines - lots is under cover and rain won’t be constant

There's an indoor mini golf at the marina. Sounds rubbish but we did it on a rainy day and really enjoyed it.

I'm not sure they will, although I loved it as an adult. My dd who is 14 went to Brighton recently and they spent the whole time in shops, but also went to Laserquest for half an hour....maybe good for a rainy day?

Pottery painting - north road
The pier has a lot of cover
Theres a pub called the worlds ends which has scalextric, VR headsets, escape rooms and table football. Fairly family friendly during the day.
i360 - views of the whole of Brighton although not sure how great the views would be if the weather is how it is today.
Duke of York’s cinema. Quirky and has much comfier seats than the average cinema.
Lazer quest along west street
Are they Harry Potter fans? If so Oliver’s Brighton is a wizard themed shop which they could spend quite a while in escaping the rain Smile

What did you end up doing @Oranginna? Smile weather wasn’t as miserable as predicted! Xx

It wasn't too bad at all @Beebeezed in fact the waves and dark clouds made it all more atmospheric. Girls went shopping for hours and I walked along the seafront and round the Lanes. Then we went to the Dome museum and the girls walked to the marina to play glow in the dark golf and went on the pier rides. We met for dinner at a Thai restaurant called the Giggling Squid and then we went home. A truly grand day out and a really friendly place!
