Period pains here. Not a few cramps but actual agonising pains, sickness and fainting (currently awaiting laparoscopy).
I’ve set up what (in my head) I call a Menstruation Agony Station. It rhymes. It’s funny. Hot water bottle, a pile of painkillers, blankets, water.
DS is bored out of his skull and definitely not in the mood to play independently. Therefore, screen time, likely to be hours and hours today. Weather is crap and our garden is like a swam. I’m an excellent parent.
Anybody else wants to have a rant with me?
