Legal advice needed

I am posting in the hope that a family lawyer, or someone with extensive legal knowledge will read this and be able to advise me.

Basically, I need to know how to go about getting a residency order for me and my children. How much will it cost and how likely am I to get it? We have been to court once and our case was thrown out. My ex is a complete and utter nightmare. He randomly takes the kids for days on end and doesn’t return them when he says he will. They have now been taken somewhere for a week without warning and they themselves weren’t even told about it. He blocks my number so I can’t get through to them and I never ever know where they are or who they’re with. He also sleeps with his gf in a room with them, which I find weird and quite disgusting. Put bluntly, he has sex in the bed that they’re sleeping at the foot of. We have tried mediation but he never adheres to anything he says he will. I’m sick of it. I live my life on egg shells, too scared to say and do anything in case my car is keyed again, or I have a brick through the window. I spend £10K on solicitors last time and it was a complete waste of money. I’m slipping into a depression over it and it’s ruining my life. I feel like I’ll never be free of the bullying. Please can someone help me? I’m beside myself.

If he has sexual relationships in a room with your children present your best bet would be children’s services. But you would need proof, do they state this?

My eldest child has said the she’s not comfortable with it but doesn’t feel she can say anything to him about it. No, she’s not specifically seen a sexual act but they’re obviously going on and I fear she will see something she shouldn’t one of these days. By the time I get ‘proof’ the damage will already have been done.
