She must have a good body to sunbathe nude.

Why must she?

Gingerkittykat · 11/08/2019 04:58

She was a glamour model, so it's safe to say she had a good body.

Focusing on her physical attractiveness does not take away from the fact that she deserved privacy, she could not have expected a helicopter with a camera would be focusing on her genitals. He also took pictures of her daughter.

StarlightLady · 11/08/2019 05:46

I was born naked! Many people sunbathe naked. It has nothing to do with having a good body or otherwise.

Privacy is still an etitlement when it comes to cameras though.

BurnedToast · 11/08/2019 07:32
Hmm
PatricksRum · 11/08/2019 13:50

Why? We should only be naked if we have a "good body"?

windyhills · 11/08/2019 13:57

I’m quite shocked by that
Using a police helicopter to spy on her?
How did she find out? Did he only target her?

AlexaAmbidextra · 11/08/2019 15:39

I wish I had known there was money to be made. 😄. In my student nurse days we used to sunbathe topless on the roof of the nurses home. The police helicopter was forever hovering overhead.

Accountant222 · 11/08/2019 15:47

She was quite well known in the Rotherham area 20 odd years ago, page 3 girl, married a scrap mans son. I've seen her swanning around in food outlet place I did some work for.

AvengerDanvers95 · 11/08/2019 15:52

I imagine WYP will settle, the officer was convicted of misconduct in a public office for doing it. Can't imagine she would be awarded 200k though.

RushianDisney · 11/08/2019 15:55

I just can't believe anyone would do that, using a helicopter to get some salacious pictures, why not just go online? As she was a glamour model I'm sure he could have seen what he wanted without the massive waste of money, resources and time - alongside invading her privacy.

NoBaggyPants · 11/08/2019 16:01

A man used his position of authority to spy on a woman.

That's what this comes down to, an abuse of authority.

AllSweetnessAndLight · 11/08/2019 16:14

"Ms Dixon, who sunbathed naked to avoid tan marks when she worked as a glamour model, noticed the helicopter three to four times a week over a period of three years."
Hmm It took her 3 years to complain.

Fraggling · 11/08/2019 16:18

Don't want to click mail.

Is this the same officer who was done for doing this a year or 2 ago, a rehash of the story

Or is it a different helicopter police person using their job to spy on women?

If the latter, then that incredibly concerning.

I have no idea what relevance it has what her body is like. Do women and older girls with nice bodies deserve less privacy than women and girls worth less attractive bodies? I mean think about what you're saying.

Fraggling · 11/08/2019 16:21

You wouldn't think they were spying on you would you allsweetness.

You'd imagine they were doing their job, police work.

Over time maybe she got suspicious or someone said hold on tha5s weird.

Most people trust the police.

PristineCondition · 11/08/2019 16:21

So many disparaging remarks towards her

does it matter that she was a glamor model?
Does it matter if it took her three years?

He was actually convicted for doing it, it happened.
Shes a victim so why the snarky Hmm
Is it ok because of her job?

Justneedaflippingtemporaryname · 11/08/2019 16:24

I'm pretty disgusted with the OP.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 11/08/2019 16:37

I'm pretty disgusted a policeman used a helicopter that costs £££ of public money to use this poor woman as wank fodder - and that he must have had help. It's not as if the police are over funded and over resourced.

Mileysmiley · 11/08/2019 18:09

'Im pretty disgusted with the OP.

Why? it was only tongue in cheek

I don't have many of my neighbours sunbathing in the nude thank goodness. We do however have police helicopters hovering overhead but I thought they were chasing joyriders on a nearby dual carriageway not spying on naked women in gardens. :)

OP posts:
Justneedaflippingtemporaryname · 11/08/2019 18:15

Because there's no way s/he would have made the comment about the woman's body had it been a 20 year old or a man. It's sexist and ageist.

Fraggling · 11/08/2019 18:17

Well you've learnt something then op. The police don't always act scrupulously.

You've also propagated the idea that only attractive women are victims of sex offences, which is a really iffy idea. Or maybe that only attractive people should sunbathe nude in their own gardens, and if something happens then well durr they're attractive and naked what did they expect.

Or something.

Fatted · 11/08/2019 18:21

I'm also curious to know how the bloody hell he got caught or found out. Surely he wouldn't be stupid enough to take pictures. Hmm

Fraggling · 11/08/2019 18:28

In the previous case, the others in the helicopter were aware of what he was doing, some were complicit some not.

I don't know if this is the same case, if there's more than one been doing it that's really worrying.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 11/08/2019 19:50

It's the same story from 2017, rehashed.

Fraggling · 11/08/2019 22:38

Thanks my imaginary

Glad they aren't all at it...

Mileysmiley · 11/08/2019 23:45

Since I read about it every time I am in my garden and a police helicopter flies over, I do wonder if they are spying on people.
