DN turning 12 in couple of weeks. Complex family situation, so vouchers best. What shops are 'cool' for that age group? She's going into her second year of senior school. My initial thought was for clothing vouchers but other ideas welcome.

Also for a small present to open from her cousins.

Thank you.

Stationery still good - WHSmiths, Typo, fashion -pull and bear, urban outfitters, h & m. Little gift - fountain pen, bracelet, bum bags are popular right now.

I think clothing vouchers entirely depend on the girl and what she’s into.

If you want something small to open, does she like bath bombs?

Also cool water bottles , like Chillys are a good bet.

clothing tricky at that age - a lot depends on what tribe they're in. Paperchase or Lush vouchers would go down well with most of the girls that age that we know though.

Good call on the Chilly too. My DD was 12 recently and seems to have her Chilly constantly with her.

My idea for clothing vouchers was because clothes are something she happily takes home (we are relatives on the Dad's side, she lives with her Mum and shares a bedroom with her 3&5 year old sisters). Lush is out as there's no bath at her grandparents (her home on Dad's side, 90minutes from Mums, it's a complicated story)
Is there a voucher that can be used in a range of shops? We've not lived in the UK for a few years now.

Thank you for suggestions- my instincts were h&m, New Look or maybe Primark. She doesn't get much opportunity to pick stuff herself.

Is there a shopping centre that she goes to? If so, you could get a voucher for there and then she can spend it at any shop in the centre.

Cinema vouchers are usually popular too.

DiD (nearly 12) loves Zara - could this work?

DS is older but anything food related has been popular all through secondary school! He's given/received Vouchers for Nando's, pizza express, Costa, our local ice cream restaurant and shakeaway ( milkshake shop!)
