Could someone who's been to Monkey World let me know approximately how long you need to spend there?

We went last Monday!! Have you got dc? 3 different play areas, activity sheet to do, talks a bit long winded for young dc... Very good for adults though! 2/3 hours at least. Ice cream shop /vans. Picnic tables and plenty of loos! We managed to ID all the orangutans! It was very sunny and I had to press my face to the window. Chimp eyes met me on the other side.
Think I had something in my eye....

Do you mean as a human visitor or a monkey inmate?

We spent two hours watching the chimps!

@Summerunderway It's just 2 adults! Sounds fab though. Is 3 hours sufficient or could you stay longer?

3-5 hrs. It's not huge, but you can down aaaages watching the animals as they are so lush. The orangutans were amazing, especially the babies!!!

Lots of walking.
I love it there but have not been as offen as I like.

We spent the whole day there! The talks start at the front of the park and follow round nicely so you can get to all of them without missing anything or feeling rushed.

Just went on Thursday for the 100th time. We were with a five year old and my 2 year old twins - we spent about 5 hours. I’ve never spent a whole day there

To be fair if you haven't got any kids with you being distracted by the multiple adventure playgrounds and soft play centres three hours might be enough for the basics. My eldest recently went there whilst on scout camp nearby and they just did the afternoon.

I’d really recommend visiting the Abbotsbury Swannery too if you are in that part of the world, it is a wonderful place.

3 hours is plenty for two adults I’d say. It’s good but a bit overhyped imo.

Thank you so much for posting this, just as the DCs asked to see lemurs and we are going on holiday to the area.
I'm also really impressed with their accessibility download as it has lots of photos, and info about noise levels and crowds, really helpful for those of us with DCs that struggle with these things.

Love Monkey World, taken the kids there a couple of times. They loved it, so we spent the whole day there, certainly a few hours for a couple of adults but a whole day even better!
