just wondering as in a brico (don't ask) in france and they sell those toilets...

do private households have those sometimes?

if you squat with you bottom facing the door the hole in the ground is a better position for your aim.

Like a pp, I’ve seen Turkish toilets on the chambres de bonne floors in unmodernised old apartment buildings in Paris.

I was in Florence and could only find these loos to wee in. But I felt funny about using them so my DH and I paid to go to the Gucci museum (not on our itinerary) because we figured they would have good toilets. They did, and we enjoyed the museum too. I am funny about toilets. I can't physically go unless the conditions are right!
