Summer Holidays - How is it going?

So, here we are about half way through the Summer Hols now and I've started thinking about getting the dcs uniform ready. Our family holiday is behind us and I am now thinking about the dcs starting back at school in September. Am I alone in thinking that we have had a long enough break already (but there is about another three weeks to go)?

Didn't mention that as well as an older dc who more or less entertains themselves, I also have two young dc - one at school and a toddler. I think that this has a lot to do with thinking enough is enough.

Back a week on Monday for us (Scotland) and it doesn't seem that long, it's been a poor summer up here, very wet the last couple of weeks.

Left it a bit late and uniform only ordered last night should arrive next week.

Ds(15) is in his first exam year this year so not looking forward to going back.

Agree that they go back soon in Scotland but, as DC3 left in June I am now officially school free!!!!! No more bloody uniform shopping with surly teens. Feels good (but condolences to all still with years to go)
