If you use roll on deodorant, do you find it goes all over your clothes? Or am I particularly incompetent

Switched to roll on and what a difference. The only problem is that I keep getting smears of it on my tops when I pull them over... I usually put it on, do my hair and put on my moisturiser so I am definitely giving it time to dry 😟😟

I have been known to dry it with the hairdryer sometimes! Some take longer to dry than others

It’s the Sure one and it’s made such a difference. I’m just fed up of going out and realising there’s a big white smear on the bottom of my top!

I put clothes on first.

I dry it with a hairdryer. Bit of a faff when it's hot weather but it does work. Mine's the Sure 48hr one.

Justmuddlingalong · 09/08/2019 17:48

I use the mitchum stick. It's not wet like a roll on and very effective.

Dowser · 09/08/2019 17:50

Crystal rock all the way
No smears
No smell something

orangeshoebox · 09/08/2019 18:04

I wait until it's completely dry.

Winterfellismyhome · 09/08/2019 18:05

I do a wonder woman twirl to help it dry before getting dressed

Utini · 09/08/2019 18:06

I also dry it with a hairdryer. Still sometimes get some white marks but they tend to rub off fairly easily.

Katinski · 09/08/2019 18:07

Crystal stick all the way for me.Smile

Bluntness100 · 09/08/2019 18:07

I also put my clothes on first then just reach under and put my deodorant on, saves any issues,

Fatted · 09/08/2019 18:11

I use the Nivea I think it is invisible one.

I wait ages to let it dry and also have a knack of putting clothes on a certain way. I can't describe it other than never letting my clothing come into contact with my arm pits. It's kind of like pull it over my head, wait, one arm in, two arms in. When clear, shimmy it down. I do also step into things like strappy vests and pull them up. But I am a bit weird like that.

Bluntness100 · 09/08/2019 18:17

I can't get past the bonkers things people are doing, hairdryers, spinning, waiting ages.

Just put your clothes on first, then your deodorant 😂

Picklypickles · 09/08/2019 18:20

If I wasn't allergic to it I would use crystal rock deodorant all the time its amazing.

dementedpixie · 09/08/2019 18:25

If I put it on after my clothes then the clothes would stick to the wet deodorant Confused

homemadecommunistrussia · 09/08/2019 18:27

I put it on at bed time. Smile

vickylou78 · 09/08/2019 18:32

Get the Mitchum stick - it's brilliant but use it sparingly as you only need a thin layer of it as it works so well. No white marks. I use unscented one too as then doesn't clash with perfume

dementedpixie · 09/08/2019 18:34

I don't rate mitchum and the roll on takes forever to dry

PutYourWetsuitOn · 09/08/2019 18:56

Clothes on first? Does that work?!

OP posts:
Zaphodsotherhead · 09/08/2019 19:14

I wear a black uniform to work and quite often was going in with those stripy white marks half way down where I pulled it over my head. So now I get dressed first and then swipe it on, works perfectly well.

ToLiveInPeace · 09/08/2019 20:14

My problem is clothes being ruined by deodorant stains, from both stick and roll-on types. Any suggestions?!

HalfManHalfLabrador · 09/08/2019 20:19

I never get it on my clothes Confused

NannyR · 09/08/2019 20:20

Another fan of crystal deodorant - rub it on wet pits after a shower, no staining, no fragrance. It's the only thing that keeps me smelling fresh all day long, although it doesn't stop you sweating as it isn't an antiperspirant.
