Mattress like Tempur without the price?

So we went to dreams and liked one of the Tempur mattresses. But obviously would rather not pay £2k if possible.
Are any of the mattresses in a box like the Emma similar? Looking for something that feels quite soft, the one at the moment is too firm. Or I might go back to my trusty Ikea mattress.

Or the Ergoflex?

Or Eve? Or any other recommendations whilst I still google?

I honestly think you are unlikely to get one as good as Tempur cheaply. You get what you pay for.

We have an ergoflex as couldn't afford a Tempur It's lovely we are really pleased with it. It takes a few weeks to soften fully so if you do get one don't be put off if it's a bit hard at first.

We have an Eve hybrid. I used to have a Tempur but much prefer the Eve. It’s soft enough to not feel hard, but it’s firm enough that you lie on it rather than in it.

The tempur was hard as bricks for the first few months, once it softened it became hard to roll over because it had moulded so well around you and I used to wake up with backache from being in the same position all night. With the Eve the backache has completely gone.

Another who had major issues with back pain with a Tempur mattress. Google it so you are aware before you commit to spending so much money. They also retain heat which is great for the winter but a bit of a nightmare in the summer months

We bought an ex display Tempur mattress from John Lewis for £1200 (king size) about this time of year a couple of years ago. If you don’t mind an ex display I’d really recommend. You could always ask the staff nicely which ones will be sold and when?

When I went mattress shopping I was extremely close to buying a tempur mattress but then got a sensaform 9000 which was about £650 in a sale they had on at the time and it is sooooo comfy I preferred it to the tempur, however I did buy a tempur cloud pillow but rarely use it..

I got DS a mattress topper from IKEA, obvs not a Tempur, but he loves it. This was a few years ago.

I might try the Leesa, trying to work out which one is the softest one
