I've got a niggle that my iron may be a bit low. I have blood a month ago, and I was on the minimum level allowed for donation, and I've noticed in the last couple of weeks that normal things seem to be taking quite a bit more effort, and I'm quite tired. I also need a holiday though, so it could just be that
. Thinking of trying a gentle supplement to see if any improvement, what's best these days?
I did have a tendency to low iron when pregnant, but that was 13 years ago last time, and generally I tend to believe I'm getting sufficient nutrients from diet. I don't feel as bad as when I was properly anaemic- that wading through treacle feeling - but things are definitely a bit harder at the moment.
