Sleeping on public transport

After spending a few hours on the train yesterday I was just thinking about how most people seem to have a 'socially acceptable' sleep mode specifically for public transport. Nice calm, no dribble or snore snooze.

I fight to stay awake if I'm tired when travelling because my subconscious doesn't work well enough and I'm sure I would end up a dribbling mess Blush

Do you have a separate 'sleep'?

It's a lighter sleep than usual i'd say. I always wake up a few mins before my stop so I mustn't be very asleep, if you know what i mean.

My dad used to snore on the train Grin

Would you be one of those that lean on the person sitting next to them and keep waking up and nodding off again Grin

Haha probably

My "public sleep mode" is more dribbly and snorty than how I sleep at night! It's got to the point where I won't sleep on public transport unless I have my husband to lean against/be hidden by... 😂
