Play date

If you were having a friend of DC over for playdate and DC was ill would you cancel knowing mum had planned to go to work? Not providing childcare per say but mum is planning on working and has said can't pick up til x time as at work.

This hasn't happened but was just pondering!

Depends how ill dc was.

Depends what the child was ill with-d&v then yes cancel, bit under the weather but happy to curl up on the sofa and watch a film then go ahead. Either way I’d check with the other mum because passing on the illness might cause more of a problem re.work than cancelling the play date.

I often work while dc is at a friends to play but the mum knows that she can cancel for any reason.
