Inspired by another thread, I’m intrigued by everyone’s work food stashes! Mine is looking a bit sad at the moment, Weetabix, Polo mints and Xmas cards!

I'm not at work this week but my desk drawer generally contains;

  • gluten free porridge sachets
  • gluten free oat and choc chip bars
  • gluten free ginger bread men
  • circa 20 jars of loose leaf tea (...I love tea..)
  • polos

I don't actually eat from my drawer every day but it's all there for hungry moments cause it's not always easy to get gluten free stuff on the fly.

FlatheadScrewdriver · 08/08/2019 20:12

My desk drawer contains a large red teapot and a tin of biscuits. (You know, and some actual work stuff. Probably.)

Bwekfusth · 08/08/2019 20:25

My desk drawer contains a few lindor chocs and some cold infused teabags. Which are shit btw.

Nononononono33 · 08/08/2019 20:29

Doesn’t really need a photo - one large box of Yorkshire tea bags and three Toffee Crisps...

miaCara · 08/08/2019 20:30

I have tea ,coffee, sugar and dried milk in one section. Chicken Cup a soup and cheesy instant pasta packets, Some small packets of biscuits from hotel rooms and packets of boiled sweets complete the stash.
I wont be in work until next week so cat take a photo though.

simplyhaving · 08/08/2019 20:31

Bwekfusth, I have the cold infusion teabags going at the moment, I've found they're only nice with hot water 🤷‍♀️

I feel somewhat deprived my work drawer contains a staplers, highlighters, a ruler and various confiscated fidget spinners, bouncy balls, slime pots etc etc alas no food, I do however get fed 6 x a day at no cost to me so really can’t moan!

Rememberallball · 08/08/2019 20:42

I don’t work so the space between the armchairs is my equivalent to stash drawer. Down there is a tub of Spoggs, a bag of Twiglets, and 1/2 a pack of Drumstick Squashies. Very boring but that’s week 33 of pregnancy for you!!

MrsJonesAndMe · 08/08/2019 20:43

I work from home which probably explains how I got fat Grin At the moment my stash are fresh fruit, a Lindt dark choc bar and some nuts.

Fatted · 08/08/2019 20:44

I have a selection of Mugshots, cuppa soups and pot noddles in mine.

My colleague has porridge in hers that's older than my children. But perfectly fine apparently Hmm

Oblomov19 · 08/08/2019 20:46

Porridge sachets, lucozade and glucose tablets, werthers originals, picnics 4 pack, Milky Way crispy rolls. Diet Coke. 6 pack of salt and vinegar squares.

Crunchymum · 08/08/2019 20:47

Outing but never mind.

I'm going to a different office for a month as we are having asbestos work done. So zero access to our normal office.

I emptied my bottom drawer, locked my pedestal and toddled off .... have now realised in my top drawer there is an open pack of pitta, and some fruit.

I'll post a picture of it in a month Grin

Drogonssmile · 08/08/2019 20:53

My work drawer is ridiculous. I take food in and don't eat it or get something else so I've got cereal bars, tins of soup, tea bags, coffee, two bags of crisps, a sachet of porridge and probably more. I'd be fine if I were locked in for a couple of days!

EggysMom · 08/08/2019 20:59

I used to have a stash. Then they got rid of our pedestal drawers and gave us a tiny locker each. There's only just room for notepads, pencil case, mug; certainly no room for a food stash. To be fair, I've probably eaten more healthily as a result of having nowhere for snacks Grin

QuckTheDuck · 08/08/2019 20:59

I work in a commercial kitchen, so my work stash is whatever yumminess is in the fridge! Plus we get forcefed given the leftovers!

Tink1990 · 08/08/2019 21:26

Ooo, pack of snack a jacks, bag of hula hoops, dark chocolate ginger biscuits (so yum), graze flapjacks, fibre one chocolate fudge bars and I am sure one more treat but cannot remember now, will update tomorrow!

These are just in my bottom drawer, I have all very useful stuff in the other two, promise!

Hassled · 08/08/2019 21:26

I have a scarily large range of biscuits, most of which are stale, and bags of Quavers. And a tub of dried apricots for the time when I was going to stop eating shite at work.

Someaddedsugar · 08/08/2019 21:31

@EggysMom the same has happened in our office and I don’t snack anywhere near as much! I also can never be bothered to walk to my locker (very lazy I know) so couldn’t actually tell you what’s in there!

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 08/08/2019 21:35

My work drawers are full of random bits of paper and notebooks. I started out with one drawer but I'm migrating in to my third😳

My food stash consists of a jar of coffee, a mugshot sachet and an out of date porridge pot. It's pathetic....

I hope to get inspiration from this thread.....

LtGreggs · 08/08/2019 21:35

Tomato cup-a-soups and, if I'm lucky, a mugshot. Some own-brand slim fast sachets (as there's always plenty of milk available!). Sometimes crackers, but I polish them off super fast.

I have to balance the 'attractive enough to actually eat' vs 'have to be pretty hungry to want to eat that'.

redeyetonowheregood · 08/08/2019 22:14

Cup a soups and oatcakes.

Babymamamama · 08/08/2019 22:20

Oats so simple
Earl grey tea bags
Baci chocolates (bought at tkmaxx on lunch break and stashed so I don’t take them home and eat in one sitting)
Ryvita with sesame
Peanut butter
Miso soup sachets

nikkylou · 08/08/2019 22:28

Bottom drawer has a couple of carrier bags, one bag for life and my USB fan box. Middle drawer it's my notebook, and my hoard of useless paper copies of stuff / training reminders. Top drawer is a card reader which has to be locked away (for my job) and the more interesting crap:
2 different coffees, chamomile tea, green tea, cold infusions and ibuprofen. Will often have chocolate or something but I haven't stocked up.

SinglePringle · 08/08/2019 22:31

Lapsang teabags
Oat cakes
Plain Brazil nut
Lentil cakes
Marzipan Ritter Sport
Miniatures of whiskey and vodka for emergency late nights (often have to do 1am finishes at short notice and cracking these open at 12.30am sends us home relaxed)

youngestisapsycho · 08/08/2019 22:33

I have pombear crisps, cup a soups and Belvita breakfast biscuits.
