MIL leaving not so subtle message (lighthearted)

MIL took the dc out for the day yesterday at her own request. Dropped them back home, went and grabbed our bottles for recycling as she was going to the centre today anyway and cheerily breezes off saying she's left a treat for them in the kitchen.

Went to look and found this (hopefully picture shows). Ummm thanks MIL Grin

Could you bake her a cake in the shape of a subtly-raised middle finger as a 'thank you' for taking the kids out?

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 08/08/2019 13:01

I don't understand? Are they pieces from a game which she has left for you?
That is a bit bonkers Grin

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 08/08/2019 13:03

appropriate I'd love to do that but my baking skills would probably make it look too much like a cock and balls and that's a bit too aggressive 😂

They are smarties tubes

TweezerMay · 08/08/2019 13:03

Ha! Do you think she did it on purpose? That’s the kind of thing mine would do intentionally Grin

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 08/08/2019 13:04

hoof they're packs of smarties.

In fairness to MIL she doesn't pay a lot of attention to these things but it made me laugh.

Ah thank you. In my day smarties were round plastic and I don't buy them anymore so I didn't realise.
Every day's a school day on MN 😀

Your mil sounds like she has a sense of humour, albeit in a slightly passive aggressive manner . I'm sure she's lovely really.Grin
