Asking for guidance from any Spanish ladies on MN or expats living in Spain.
I have been invited to a Spanish Wedding (Spanish bride and groom marrying in their home country as opposed to a destination wedding). Groom is a colleague of DH, neither of us has met the bride. Wedding is taking place at lunchtime (1pm) in an old palace on the farthest west coast of Northern Spain so the weather will be similar to UK.
It is the bride's second marriage.
I am really looking forward to this but have no idea what to wear? Can I wear a hat (I love hats!)? All the pictures I've googled show women in long lavish gowns. Can some of you nice MNs help? and also some guidance on the format, traditions etc of Spanish weddings.
