missmouse101 · 06/08/2019 21:19

Sunglasses? Bag for dirty washing? Lipbalm?

TheRLodger · 06/08/2019 21:20

Universal travel plug 🔌 & phone chargers

LIZS · 06/08/2019 21:21

Water bottles , fresh water fountains a plenty. Comfy shoes and blister plasters. Big hat. Scarf to cover shoulders in churches and to improvise a skirt if wearing shorts.

AdaColeman · 06/08/2019 21:22

Small first aid kit

Sturdy flat shoes, the pavements in Rome are ankle sprainingly awful

GiggleMcDimples · 06/08/2019 21:22

Mozzie repellant.
Plasters for blisters - I always get blisters from walking in hot countries regardless of the fact I walk miles every day.
Antacids for rich food heartburn.

Needtobuildabridge · 06/08/2019 21:22

Sunscreen is packed in 3 different strengths 😂
@MissMouse101 you are today's first winner with a dirty laundry bag.

Off she goes to find one

Keep them coming 😁

Definitely suncream. DP and I went years ago in March and he got a sunburnt forehead. No suncream in supermarkets all year round. He got some in a pharmacy near our hotel much to the amusement of the staff.
Comfy footwear as you will do a lot of walking.

Avocadodance · 06/08/2019 21:26

Paracetamol
Hand cream
Reusable coffee cup Smile

Needtobuildabridge · 06/08/2019 21:28

@Avocadodance reuseable coffee cups? I'm sure I'm being dim, but why? :)

Carrier bag. Has many uses.

AdaColeman · 06/08/2019 21:31

Don't forget to take the elevator up the Victor Emmanuel II Monument (Altara della Patria) for great views of the city. Get the lift around the back of the huge white marble monument, there is a charge, about 9 euro I think.

Have a fab time, Rome is a wonderful city.

SamBeckett · 06/08/2019 21:31

have a look at this , it may give you some ideas .

Euros, credit card, passport - I like to state the obvious but I know people who have forgotten them! Prebook tickets online tonight for any attractions, apparently it saves lots of time (I'm there's in 3 weeks)

bluebump · 06/08/2019 21:48

I was also going to say hairbrush, it’s why I have so many at home as I keep forgetting them and have to buy another.

Tweezers
Nail clippers
