Hi, my first time on here so not sure if anyone can help. Im 7 months pregnant and staying on a relatives sofa, i have signed up to property pool plus and i am in band A. I have bidded for a house which i am so desperate for, im in 8th position which i know means 7 are before me but i was wondering how it works. Do they just put you in that position due to your band then you will be 8th to be offered the property or do they look into it a bit further when bidding closes and maybe filter it further. Sorry i know 8 is a low chance i just really love the property and i am so desperate right now. Thanks for any help

Nobody can tell you it will vary by area, you are best ringing up and ask.

xxkayleyxx · 06/08/2019 17:48

I have asked and they dont really give you any further information just that you will be contacted if successful.

I guess it’s just a waiting game then op and remember when people view they may refuse it.
Hope you get the property, I am pregnant and would really struggle sleeping on a sofa!

Ahh thanks so much, im really struggling now. Im not holding much hope for anyone refusing it, its a new build with a garden.

You would be surprised what people refuse they may decide it’s too far from their family, Kids School etc . Or even silly reasons eg garden too small as they often arevin new builds.

Will you jump once you have baby?

xxkayleyxx · 06/08/2019 18:08

I mean higher up the list lol. Will you be higher priority once you've got a baby than when you are pregnant. Sorry, it was badly worded!

xxkayleyxx · 06/08/2019 18:24

Haha i see, i was thinking thats a bit harsh haha. No thats as high as i can go as i am in Band A.

Good luck OP. I was also pregnant and sleeping on a friend's sofa. Not easy but life gets better. I now own my own home and my daughter's at uni.
