August in the glen
My bovine friend lows softly
‘Hi Coo,’ I murmur

All are at home now
But the tea is not ready yet
We are getting hungry

The plump wood pigeons
Roosting on my arbour roof
Are singing high coos

Eating my dinner
Avocado egg on toast
I feel so hipster

How will we stop this?
The terrorists are home grown
they live among us
