Any doctors about? Shaky hands!

I've recently started to get really shaky hands out of the blue. I struggle to keep them steady when I'm picking things up and they feel very weak now as I type this out.

I'm 22 and am wondering why this has started happening Confused I do have anxiety but this is under control at the moment with medication. Other than that I feel fine, just the shaky hands.

Anybody got any ideas and is it worth a trip to the GP?

I’d see a GP as it could be any number of things.
I didn’t have anxiety but during a stressful time last year, I had shaky hands as well as numbness and pins and needles in my feet and hands. So what I’m saying is it could be anxiety.
I know someone who developed shaky hands and was diagnosed with epilepsy although she also had lots of other symptoms

@Pivotttttt thanks for your reply!

I'm wondering if it could be something to do with my nerves. I had DS 3 months ago via EMCS and have since had numbness of the right thigh. It's also my right hand which is more shaky than the other and feels very weak.

Hmm..

Many reasons, but, have your thyroid checked. I have Graves Disease, hyperthyroidism..one of the symptoms is shaking hands, along with increased heart rate, weight loss amongst others. Sinpke blood test would confirm. Either way, get it checked!

In that case I’d definitely contact a doctor
