I finish at 4 and don't need to get DS until just before 6.

Do I:

A) go home, enjoy a cuppa in relative peace with Dh upstairs on his PC no doubt, cook tea, eat it then go and get DS

OR:

B) Drive to my mums to get the tshirts she picked up for him today, have a brew, drive to summer club and sit and read my ebook in the car 'til they arrive back from their trip which could be anytime from 5.30-6pm

I am torn.

A! I love a peaceful tea at home. Also, watch some TV and get takeaway instead of cook Wink

Definitely B.

Enjoy the peace and relaxing time with your ebook

@ShootTheRunner We were supposed to have gammon on Sunday for tea. I've put it off twice and I think I risk DH leaving me (lighthearted obvs) if I put it off again!

I know this isn't the point, but if DH is at home 'upstairs on his PC' maybe he could, y'know, switch the oven on and cook it? Confused

Go and chill out on your own for a bit. Sounds like you need it!

B. If you go home, you'll end up doing chores.

Bit late to this but we have a teenager and toddler in this house so any couple of hours free time when husband and I are both free with no kids about is normally spent...well enjoying the time in the bedroom 😂😂😂 .. teenager is ruining our love life!
