What do I pack for an active holiday? Please help!

Me and 2 dc, off to the Alps. Temps around 32 degrees.

Will be walking and sightseeing.

I have never been away to somewhere so hot before, not one for lounging around on sun beds but there is a pool at the gite.

What clothes do I pack?! Do I bother with trousers or jumpers?

1 jumper and pair of jeans for cooler nights and for the plane.

Will you have washing facilities? If so, then you don't need to bring much as can wash in between.

If it's going to be hot, you almost certainly won't wear long sleeves/trousers but it might be worth travelling in something that will be good in the evening. Also travel in your walking shoes if luggage weight is an issue.

If you're walking you need shorts and lightweight tops or thin dresses, hats, lots of sunscreen. Possibly thin rain jacket just in case, unless there really is zero chance of a storm.

Swimwear because after hiking around in the heat you'll be desperate to go in the pool.

Reusable water bottles, camel baks if you have them, a day sack per person - use as hand luggage on the plane.

Okay! Thanks.

We’re there for 2 weeks, I can’t see whether there’s a laundrette locally or in the gite
