routine appointment

my GP has just called me and said can me and DS come in for a 'routine appointment'
I have been with the GP for 7 years and never had a routine appointment in my life.
My DP is going through mental health checks do you think its to do with that? why would the appointment include my DS?

It's unlikely to be about DP, there are confidentiality issues there.

How old is your DS? Has be had any recent illness or blood tests?

No neither me or DS have been to the doctors personally for ages we have had no problems, i suppose i could be called in for a review on my vitamin b12 but even so i don't understand why DS has appointment too?
